At Cactly, we believe industry data should be collected and shared ethically—with clarity, consent, and professionalism. That’s why we follow four guiding principles in how we source, manage, and protect the contact information in our membership directory.
1. All contacts listed on Cactly are sourced from publicly available information.
Every contact featured in the Cactly directory is manually reviews and carefully curated from open, publicly visible sources—such as official websites, industry press releases, professional profiles, and verified social media. We never include private data or any contact information that isn’t already accessible in the public domain.
2. Outdated listings without a current public source are removed.
We regularly audit our listings. If a contact is no longer available through a public source, we label it as “Pending Removal” and fully remove the record after six months.
This helps ensure our members access only up-to-date and verifiable information for legitimate business outreach.
3. Listed professionals have full control over their information.
Cactly respects the rights of every individual featured in our directory. Anyone may:
Request an update or correction
Ask for their contact details to be removed
Inquire how their information was sourced
To submit a request, email help@cactly.com. We respond promptly and process all requests in accordance with data protection standards.
4. Website owners control how we source public data.
Cactly only uses publicly accessible web pages when sourcing data. We comply with robots.txt
protocols and honor any request to restrict or block indexing.
Our goal is to support ethical outreach and transparency—building meaningful connections without compromising trust.
Cactly is committed to curating the most reliable, respectful, and professionally sourced contact directory in the music industry.
